   3   The <dfn>Main Menu</dfn> allows the user to interact with Ardour and may
   4   appear daunting at first. Below is a reference of all the menus and submenus.

   8   Most of these menus, and probably all of the most used
   9   ones, have keyboard shortcuts to make using them easier and faster. A

  12   page, and every menu in Ardour can be reassigned to an user defined
  13   key binding, or used via <a
  14   href="@@controlling-ardour-with-osc">OSC</a> with a control surface.

  18   Some menu items placement may depend on the OS, e.g. the "About"
  19   window may not be in the <kbd class="menu">Help</kbd> menu on Mac
  20   systems.
