   3   <dfn>Sessions</dfn> are stored in a single folder on your computer's filesystem.

   6   The first time you run Ardour, you will be asked where you would like the
   7   default location for sessions to be, with the initial choice being your
   8   home folder.

  11   After the first-run dialog, you can still change the default location at
  12   any time via <kbd class="menu">Edit &gt; Preferences &gt; Misc &gt; Session
  13   Management</kbd>. You can also specify a particular (different) location for
  14   a session when creating it, in the
  15   <a href="/working-with-sessions/new-session-dialog/">New Session dialog</a>.
