3 This tab contains settings that affect the use of
4 <a href="/mixing/muting-and-soloing/">solo, muting</a>, and
5 <a href="/mixing/panning/">panning</a>.

19 <strong>Solo-in-place mute cut</strong> sets the attenuation of the
20 the other tracks when another track is soloed in place. This setting
21 is also available from the <strong>Mixer</strong> monitor section.
26 <strong>Solo controls are Listen controls</strong> when enabled the
27 soloed track is soloed only on the monitor bus, the master fader mix
28 is not affected by the solo. This option can also be set by enabling
29 pre-fader listen or after-fader listen in the <strong>Mixer</strong>
35 <strong>Listen Position:</strong> determines what is listened to when
36 the solo controls are used as listen controls. The options are
37 after-fader or pre-fader.
42 <strong>PFL signals come from:</strong> determines whether the
43 pre-fader listen position is before or after the pre-fader processors.
48 <strong>AFL signals come from:</strong> determines whether the
49 after-fader listen position is before or after the after-fader
55 <strong>Exclusive solo</strong> when enabled will only solo that last
56 track selected for solo. Previously soloed tracks will be un-soloed.
57 This setting is also available from the <strong>Mixer</strong> monitor
63 <strong>Show solo muting</strong> when enabled outlines the mute
64 button on tracks and busses when another track is soloed.
69 <strong>Soloing overrides muting</strong> when enabled allows a track
70 to be heard when it is soloed while muted. This setting is also
71 available from the <strong>Mixer</strong> monitor section.
79 <strong>Default track/bus muting options</strong> sets the muting options
80 for a newly created tracks or bus. The mute options for an existing track
81 or bus are changed by the right-click context menu on a mute button.
86 <strong>Mute affects pre-fader sends</strong> when enabled pre-fader
87 sends will be muted by default.
92 <strong>Mute affects post-fader sends</strong> when enabled post-fader
93 sends will be muted by default.
98 <strong>Mute affects control outputs</strong> when enabled control
99 outputs are muted by default.
104 <strong>Mute affects main outputs</strong> when enabled main outputs
105 are muted by default.
113 <strong>Send Routing</strong> affects
114 <a href="/signal-routing/aux-sends/">aux and external sends</a>.
119 <strong>Link panners of Aux and External Sends with main panner by
120 default</strong> When enabled, sends follow the channel panner.
123 When disabled, sends can panned independently of the channel panner
124 and fader. Double clicking the send in the processor box toggles
125 the main panner and fader between the aux send and the channel.
