   3   Although recording MIDI is a common way to create new MIDI regions, it is
   4   often desirable to do so as part of editing/arranging.

   7   Create a new MIDI region is as simple as <kbd
   8   class="mouse">Left</kbd>-clicking in a MIDI track. A region will be created
   9   that is one bar long. It can then be <a href="@@trimming-regions">trimmed</a>
  10   to any length desired.

  13   Once a region has been created, <a href="@@add-new-notes">some notes</a>
  14   should be added to it.
