4 often desirable to do so as part of editing/arranging.
7 To create a new MIDI region with the mouse, simply enter draw mode (press
8 "d" or click on the pencil tool) and then <kbd
9 class="mouse">Left</kbd>-click in a MIDI track. This creates a region
10 that is one bar long. Alternatively, use the left button to
11 drag-create a new region of the desired length.
14 Once the region exists, to trim it to a different length, switch
15 back to grabber/object/select mode (press "g" or click on the
16 grabber tool). Then <a href="@@trimming-regions">trim</a> to your desired length.
