   9 <p>This section covers a set of region editing operations that you will likely use again and again while working on a session. Depending on your working habits (and experience of other DAWs) some of them will be critical while others may be more rarely used. </p>
  10 <p>All of these operations can be carried out from the keyboard. Default keybindings can be found in the <a href="/default-keyboard-bindings">list</a>. Equivalent operations can be done with mouse in most cases. </p>
  11 <p>You may want to review your understanding of <a href="/editing-and-arranging/the-edit-point">the edit point/range</a> and <a href="/editing-and-arranging/what-regions-are-affected">which regions will be affected by region operations</a>.</p>

  14 <dd>move selected regions to the edit point</dd>
  15 <dt>Split</dt>
  16 <dd>split selected regions at the edit point</dd>
  17 <dt>Trim Start</dt>
  18 <dd>Adjust the start of selected regions to the edit point (or as close as possible)</dd>
  19 <dt>Trim End</dt>
  20 <dd>Adjust the end of selected regions to the edit point (or as close as possible)</dd>
  21 <dt>Duplicate</dt>
  22 <dd>Make a copy of each selected region and position it immediately after the original</dd>
  23 <dt>Crop</dt>
  24 <dd>Truncate selected regions to the edit range</dd>
  25 <dt>Separate</dt>
  26 <dd>Split selected regions at both ends of the edit range</dd>
  27 <dt>Set Fade In</dt>
  28 <dd>Adjust selected audio regions' fade in to end at the edit point</dd>
  29 <dt>Set Fade Out</dt>
  30 <dd>Adjust selected audio regions' fade out to end at the edit point</dd>
  31 <dt>Toggle Fade In</dt>
  32 <dd>Turn selected audio regions' fade in on or off</dd>
  33 <dt>Toggle Fade Out</dt>
  34 <dd>Turn selected audio regions' fade out on or off</dd>
  35 <dt>Play Region</dt>
  36 <dd>Play session from the start of the earliest selected region</dd>
  37 <dt>Zoom To Region</dt>
  38 <dd>Zoom horizontally so that the selected regions span the editor track view</dd>
  39 <dt>Set Sync Point</dt>
  40 <dd>Set the sync point of all selected regions to the edit point</dd>
  41 <dt>Insert</dt>
  42 <dd>Inserts the currently selected regions in the Region List at the edit point</dd>
